Construction of new psychiatric clinic building
Klinikum Weissenhof, Schwäbisch Hall
The new building's 3,900 square meter of floor space includes 30 inpatient beds, 4 outpatient clinics with a total of 72 seats, a psychiatric outpatient clinics and a medical care center. Three staggered cubes are aligned in parallel to the rail tracks running alongside the campus. This gives rise to distinct open spaces with different qualities and uses. The open spaces are located in the acoustically open spaces. The compact cubes keep routes short and allow for an efficient use of the facility. All of the units and functional rooms are easily accessible from a central access area. There is no basement to achieve higher efficiencies.
