St. Antonius Hospital in Kleve

The objective of the procedure was to create a comprehensive and new conception of the St. Antonius Hospital in several construction steps. The backbone of the new structure is the main path running from east to west, which divides the new hospital with 410 beds into a northerly examination- and treatment block and a southerly care area that faces south to the park. The conception of the construction steps ensures that hospital services remain fully operational. The existing dialysis unit is connected to the extended main path to the east and thereby integrated into the total ensemble of the hospital. A prospective macro-expansion is also possible for this area. The newly constructed chapel is positioned at a central location in the main entry area as a solitary unit.
