New building
The new construction was built in an exposed, sloping location in the direction of the Baltic Sea. Four wings include residential groups for ten residents in one-person- and two-person apartments. The differentiated layout allows for a configuration of a personal and individual area. Communal rooms open up in the center of the two housing levels. An entry hall with two levels can be accessed from the south. At the intersection line between communal area and housing area a nursing post has been established for two groups each. A swimming pool for residents as well as personnel- and common rooms are located here. Two groups share a living- and eating room with a kitchen. The widened corridor ends provide additional living space with large-dimensioned window glazing. An ergotherapy- and gymnastic room has been established on the upper floor.
