Reorganization and structural improvements
In the first building phase, the laundry was demolished and a new kitchen was built in its place. On the ground floor, the examination and treatment areas were reorganized and centralized and the various clinical physician services and radiology departments were centralized, after having been scattered across various floors. In addition, the central emergency admissions department was restructured. The cafeteria was built as a new extension, adjacent to the lobby On floors two and three of section 2, the nursing units were also thoroughly renovated. In this case, the windows were enlarged and the entire facade of section 2 was refurbished across all floors. The various operating rooms that had been scattered across section 2 were consolidated into a central, multidisciplinary surgical department on the first floor. The renovation of the entire facade of section 1 is also planned.
