The new replacement building with one surgery department, an intensive care unit, a new central sterilization unit, food supply and a care unit with 108 beds has been integrated into the existing hospital structure. Moreover, the main building has been restored and the main entrance has been moved to a central position in the ensemble; the existing function locations for emergency reception, function diagnostics and radiology have been restored and expanded. A new patient cafeteria and a central hall are part of the new entree. Two stations on the upper floors have been restructured and updated according to modern care standards. The replacement building for neurology is currently under construction. The function diagnostics unit of the neurological department are linked to the existing function diagnostics. Moreover, an IMC unit and a normal care unit are being built next to the operating area.
