New construction of surgery section for ENT- and gynecology services
The expansion includes an interdisciplinary surgery department for ENT- and gynecology services with four operating theatres and preceding inflow, outflow and washrooms. Devices or sterile supply zones are located between the two operating theatres. Common rooms, a double-door system for transferring patients to different beds with preceding bed stand, attached plate preparation- and temporary storage space, personnel changing rooms and a service- and writing zone are located next to the operating theatres. The recovery room in the old building is integrated into the department. A prominent free-standing steel staircase acts as the second escape route in the new building. Large windows in the common room allow physicians and operating personnel to enjoy a panoramic view of the countryside during recreational phases.
