Sewage Works Hagen
On the grounds of the Sewage Works Hagen a social- and operating building, a central pumping station and a screening building has been constructed. The social- and operating building accommodates a sanitation area, a departmental- and sewage works laboratory, a warehouse and a gateway. The control room with view of the sewage works’ operating facilities, a common room, a file storage, offices for executive operations and a training room are located on the upper floor. The first treatment step is to mechanically remove coarse wastewater contents and disruptive materials in the screening facility. The downstream screening and washing press washes out organic contents. The facility has been placed within the newly constructed building so as to avoid odor- and sound emissions and ensure safe operations in winter.
