New Leibniz-Respiratorium Building
Research Center Borstel
The Research Center Borstel was founded in 1947 and is one of the world’s leading research institutions for lung diseases.
The future “Leibniz-Respiratorium” will serve as a replacement for an existing laboratory building, which cannot be renovated in accordance with the current standards and guidelines.
Fourteen research groups with around 150 employees will work in the new laboratories and offices of the new three-story building
The result is 1,700 sq. m of pure laboratory space, plus office space and 400 sq. m of equipment and storage space.
As part of its general planning contract, RDS Partner with its project partners is building the new laboratory at the Research Center Borstel, funded by the State and the Federal government with a total of 40 million euro.
