Topping Out Ceremony
New Gelsenkirchen Justice Center
A topping-out ceremony was held for the Gelsenkirchen Justice Center on April 27, 2015, with many local and state dignitaries attending. The message that NRW Justice Minister Thomas Kutschaty and others sought to convey was as follows: "The new center will be ready by the end of the year, everything is right on schedule and, most importantly, within budget." The 19,000 square meter facility will be home to the District Court, the Labor and Social Welfare Court as well as to the ambulatory social welfare service of the North Rhine-Westphalian Department of Justice. The building will have 23 meeting rooms.
RDS Partners has been tasked with oversight of general contractor services during construction of the roughly € 48.5 million judicial center in Gelsenkirchen.
