Ceremonial handover
Center for Plant Molecular Biology at the University of Tübingen
On Monday the 16th of December, the minister of finance and economic affairs for Baden-Württemberg, Nils Schmid, handed over the new building to the university; it was built with an investment sum of 38 m Euro. The building has an area of approximately 5,700 square meters; it spatially consolidates the central facilities as well as the 16 research groups of the ZMBP and provides a highly modern infrastructure and flexible laboratory zones with a size of 30 to 700 square meters.
