Construction of a new research building for Translational Oncology (TranslaTUM)
RDS Partner participated in a Europe-wide competition for the design of the new research building for translational oncology at the Technical University of Munich (TranslaTUM) on the campus of the Klinikum rechts der Isar in Munich. The interdisciplinary research building for translational oncology is planned to have an animal testing lab, research laboratories and seminar areas. Translational medicine is the interface between pre-clinical research and clinical development. The total usable area will cover approximately 5,650 square meter and will be composed of the animal barn area and the core facilities with 1,000 square meter of floor space, the research labs in S2 standard, including offices and adjoining rooms with about 4,000 square meter of floor space and a seminar area with 700 square meter of floor space.
