Triple gymnasium
The photo shows the status of construction for the Märkische Schule project – construction of a new triple gymnasium in Bochum. After excavating a total of 11,000 cbm at the building site and completing the areas on the lower level and the precast reinforced concrete facade, concrete was poured for the ceiling over the gym and cafeteria. A total of 500 cbm of concrete was poured over the course of eight hours. The concrete work was supported by Germany’s largest concrete pump, with a jib length of 61 m.
