Construction of New Pediatric and Youth Psychiatry and Psychotherapy Building in Ganderkesee
The clinic offers 51 fully-inpatient and 9 outpatient beds. The current inpatient department buildings cannot be renovated, since their structure is unsuitable to meet the current operational and functional demands of a modern hospital.
RDS Partner’s planning focuses exclusively on the inpatient clinic area for Pediatric and Youth Psychiatry.
The planning involves the construction of a new area roughly 4,000 square meters in size, with the option to expand over an additional 400 square meters effective space in a secondary construction phase.
It is key that the new building harmonizes with the existing grounds. It does not necessarily need to be matched to existing buildings, however, and can certainly serve as a “forerunner” for construction projects to follow later on.
