Construction of New Pre-Clinical Center for Molecular Signal Processing (PZMS)
at the University of the Saarland, Homburg Campus

The draft for the construction of the new Pre-Clinical Center for Molecular Signal Processing (PZMS) represents another key step in renovation and modernization on the Homburg campus of the University of the Saarland.
The project involves a modern research building with a usable area of approx. 4,335 square meters where a total of roughly 195 employees will engage in cutting-edge research in the field of molecular signal processing.
A roughly 36 million EUR budget has been appropriated for the project.
The draft from RDS Partner for the new research building, where ten different working groups with research areas in pre-clinical medicine (biochemistry and molecular biology, cell biology) and clinical-theoretical medicine (pharmacology and toxicology) will collaborate evidences the multi-disciplinary approach in the building’s structure itself.
