Opening of Herne Eickel Surgery Center
On April 2, 2012, the new surgery center at the Evangelisches Krankenhaus in Herne Eickel started operations with four ORs. This clinic's focal point is thoracic surgery. The clinic is one of only five clinics in Germany with dual certification as a lung cancer center and a specialist thoracic surgery center.
